Architecture-Art designed an industrial building for trucks in the north of Holland. Its located in the industrial area and its toward to the highway. The design is made to be flexible for changes and repetition on the same site in the future.

The question concerned the design of a business complex, was not known in advance how many and which companies could be housed in the building. The question concerned the design of a business complex, was not known in advance how many and which companies could be housed in the building. The nature and character of the business was very different. The location of the property is a triangular plot with a triangular building just off an exit road in Haulerwijk.

The uncertainty of a large number of variables is the basis for the concept. The task was not to design a building down, but in designing a modular and flexible system. For this I have to plot a square grid with a size of 5.5 meters down. Within this grid, the building can be designed as a 3D Tetris, Tetris each mold a company represents.

The facade consists of a perforated plate behind the facade or can be closed, or just a window can contain. This allows the flexibility to record a facade. Large glass doors will only be placed where they are needed for the expression.

In the network society Rotterdam has an important position. All kinds of networks are connected here, networks different in scale: local, regional, national, continental and global. The Urban Centre has as goal to support the interactions between networks. The concept of the centre and the urban plan starts with defining two networks. At first a local network associated with living, working and recreation. And second a (inter) national network associated also with information exchange and leisure. The Urban Centre is the junction of these networks.

The main function of the Urban Centre is a conference facility for lectures, workshops and expositions. This part of the program belongs to the (inter)national network. The conference facility is designed as a sculptural helix. The helix defines a core and between each turn of the helix space is made. Space which is occupied by a local network of shops and restaurants. The networks interacting in the Centre are part of public domain. The helix makes the interchange between different groups of society possible.

This project the mediatheque is the meetings point of different programs. The programs are galleries, cinemas, library and offices. This public building has different areas experiences for the public. At the same time is a connection between art, architecture and technology. The building locations is supposed to be in Belgium at the harbor side. The façade is reflecting the water movement and also presenting the harbor character of this architectonic building.

The concept of this architecture is urban intervention and network. The building itself is as bridge form the one side to the other side of the harbor. This is not only outside connection but also the inside circulation creating a network connection by creating a bridges between the two parts of the building and creating spatial experience. Through this an exchange of experience through the network will arise for the public in one building.

The location of this gallery is Rotterdam, the Rotterdam market. The futuristic vision of the urban for this location is to approach the classical quality in this area, which has a lot of optional. The location of this gallery is Rotterdam, the Rotterdam market. The futuristic vision of the urban for this location is to approach the classical quality in this area, which has a lot of optional. Not only focusing on it but also express it more. This by using the theoretical thought by creating the negative and positive spaces. Also by making difference in the hierarchies, from this can become conscious designed squares. Next to this will the method of narrow and width be used as a tool to support this concept.

Back to the building design. The building is design to create a unity in itself, so its one volume is lifted to none stop the continuity of the market, which has the big quality for this area. The main program of this building is the exposition. In the oval glass shapes is the history presenting and in the main hall is the modern art presenting. This building is accessible from both sides of the water.

The texture is reflecting the water movement in a concrete material. The whole building is made of concrete this chosen to give it monumentally character for the futuristic urbanism vision. the south side is the inviting screen for the explosion. The north side of the building has the auditorium character.

The building is sinking into the underground with bar/ café program, this is connected with the rooms in the upper level which is meant for conference. In the top of the building is the restaurant taken place.

For the family of Old Uithol Beijerland Architecture-Art designed a villa, situated near the Spanish town of Javea on the Spanish coast of Valencia. The client had purchased a plot on the south side with views over the valley and on the north side view of the red mountain Montgo. The questioning was to design a holiday villa in modern architecture. It was important that both the villa as a large family could be divided into a main house with separate guest house. This became the basis of the concept: a corridor connects all the rooms, through doors in the hallway in the house can be divided into a main house and guesthouse. The main house is 2 or 3 bedrooms include the guest house has one or two over respectively. The living rooms are oriented to the south by covered terraces (porches) are in sight of the valley. The bedrooms are located on the north side overlooking the Montgo.

The Iraqi praying monument design is located in Baghdad at the centre of the traffic. The idea is coming from the victim’s graves which are symbolizing holes underground – 8000m with the glass wall around it. The sunshine goes through this holes to light the museum up. This museum can show the story of each dead civil Iraqi people. The main volume the praying Iraqi shows the paintings of the war on the wall. It has 8 floor levels which is not attached to the wall to let the light come from the upper level to the graves. The upper level is actually the peaceful place where the visitors can memories the victims.

A new building needed to expand. The current building presents itself to a provincial road, but the approach is through the back. That was the hall extended rear. The existing hall is in the same building blocks architecture with extended 20 meters. In this expansion, a street for removal truck truck complete with crane, truck wash, loft cabin, racking and storage of hazardous substances. As a special feature I have the magazine issue integrally designed with the canopy and the street on disassembly. Three white protalen repetitive forms the supporting structure of the stem. The facade of the stock issue consists of blue-green polycarbonate plate, the plate is diffuse transparent. The entrance door is in the back wall, so that they are clearly recognizable. The building has been carefully detailed and therefore has a higher architectural quality than the usual ambition in a business park.

The task was a redesign for a corporate pilot who was lost by fire. The starting point was to achieve this in current zoning and the existing section. This section I therefore left unchanged, while I’ve focused on a new design for the facade. Such industrial buildings are usually designed very pragmatic, so again the cross section, roof and side wall. The side wall and the roof of a sheet piling anthracite, which we have applied a concealed gutter, roof and side wall so that a continuous shape. The facade reflects the different functional aspects. The building is divided into two companies. Therefore, the asymmetrical facade design, which is reflected in the placement of the overhead doors. Two glass elements provide the offices for each company. The basic material for the facade is a slightly translucent polycarbonate sheet. Finally, the front depth given by the overhead doors back into the wall.

The copper material is very mild to deform. The idea of the façade came from a sheet of paper which is also mild to be folded in any form we want. We can also use perforated copper as well as the massive copper. So we can make variation in the façade character. These panels can be open and closed with motors each 3 panels vertical as horizontal can open.

Construction

The main construction is from steel. The round columns are 250 mm, on top of them a THQ beam is placed. This beam is also 250 mm (square) and it sticks out 100 mm to carry the prefabricated concrete floors. The distance between the columns is 7200 mm.

Stability

To make the building stabile, stability cross cables are used. It begins from the ground floor and ends at the roof of the first floor. Also the elevator in this building is used for stability.

Delft Urban

The Abtswoude way is connected directly to the Kruithuis way. And it gives the accessibility to the sportpark, where the tennis centre is also located directed to the Tanthof. On the west side of Tanthof will be supported through adding special service like (schools, library, child care and so on). These special service will be [...]

The Abtswoude way is connected directly to the Kruithuis way. And it gives the accessibility to the sportpark, where the tennis centre is also located directed to the Tanthof. On the west side of Tanthof will be supported through adding special service like (schools, library, child care and so on). These special service will be exist on the green landscape and take the direction of it. So these integration will be in this zone like a comb in the landscape.

Main concept is the integration between the green and the cultivation. Extend the cultivation more. the landscape will be experienced as zigzag. The special service will be benefit not only for this district but also for whole Delft level. Tram line will also be connected in the this plan. Make the speed of the traffic more less for the special service. And finally add offices to attracted more people and make the district more urbanize.
